I have no foundation on which to say this other than the many conversations that have happened about this sort of decor - Welz could be a possibility.

Hi Anne, you're back :) great vases! Are you posting with an ipad? I had problems of photos coming out sideways. Someone here once told me to crop the photos & they'll load the right way, no idea why, but it worked!

      Hi Fran,
      Good to see you.
I'm taking the photos on my iPad. I have no idea how to crop the photos nor why all of a sudden about two months ago this problem arose.
      How does one crop?

Thanks Mac63. I understand your hesitancy in coming out and useing Welz as the decor. However I'm only interested in opinion, not battle..lol...this is the reason I left last time.

I look forward to those who mention Welz where they get the idea. I'm straight down the middle on this and firmly being Switzerland!

      Thanks again for your comments..

Amazing. I like "Switzerland" - I am an equally neutral (bland?) country! I haven't a clue about ID, all these spatters look the same to me - but, if I saw this, it would go straight in the bag!
I email myself all my photos (they are bad enough already!) and save them to desktop, where I can crop and rotate them. I don't know if you're using your iphone direct to web?
      Welcome back BTW.

Thanks Ian, you are very kind..this indeed is an amazing vase..I'm very lucky to have it and have found t..I love it for many reasons...

The style is incredible...the way the body push outward moving to the top..it's very art nouveau/deco but I would have thought closer to a 30's look...but then again some of the spatters were well before this time..

Another striking aspect is what the green glass and the added green glitter does to the affect..just beautiful....it looks like a tree in the forest rising above a floor of moss...just so striking..and the finest glass too for the orange and white part..I was worried about this one coming so far by shipping but she made it..I'm finding I have three different styles of collecting..the tangos, the pretties as I call them with pinks and blues and applieds and Floriforms and then the spatters...of course some of them overlap in to other groups....but this collecting business is so much fun...

Not too sure if I'm back, just popping in with some vases I am struggling on...I won't be putting up my whole collection again nor every new one but just those unusual ones that have me guessing..but it's lovely to catchup again with lovely ppl like you..I often see your listings and hope one day to be a "customer"...lol...

      correcting: very similar shape

I still think it holds up at Ruckl- they used adventurine too. The middle has a flat area that is distinctive from an Ernst Steinwald piece very similar in shape (decor is Bambus)

Ann asked me years ago what my opinion was about this pieces, I told her it could be Ruckl, in the double spatter decor with a shimmy pfau base of darker glass chips with green aventurine.
Its possible it is a single piece with a special purpose, such as a submission to one of the International Exhibitions of the 20s or 30s.
Never one in that exact molded shape. But have seen this decor, with multiple colors combinations. Here is an old auction lot in US 2012, with 4 pieces.

Here is one large pedestal foot bowl I owned, with a gold circle mark for Made In Czechoslovakia on the base, in another combination of colors.
