To my great pleasure I can show you my newest Micro Mosaic jewelry . Now I can my "zoo", which was earlier populated with different scarab beetles , dogs, birds (doves and stork), and one butterfly brooch pendant ,expand with a pendant butterfly sitting on a flower (diameter 1.6 "= 4 cm). The setting is made of 14K and nicely decorated. The background of the pendant made also of blue tiles Micro Mosaic and the butterfly, flower and leaves are different colors.On the photos it sometimes seems like there are tesserae missing but that's not the case. There is a hallmarked on the edge of a Dutch oak leave and a little l probably the makers mark on the bail another mark but not to decode at this moment even with magnifier or digital magnifier. Al in all a wonderful asset to my Micro Mosaic collection. I show you also this new pendant in combination with my already in possession butterfly brooch pendant.

Agram you always find such wonderful things! This image with butterfly is quite rare? I like micromosaic with 'movement' like this, rather then the ones that portrayed ruins. Very nice colors as well.

Elisabethan, thank you for your kind compliment. I agree with you regarding the images of buildings in Micro Mosaic jewelry I don't like them too either.Indeed, there are not many Mosaic jewelry with butterflies. For me it is always a challenge to find so different possible images in this kind of jewelry what picture is concerned. For that matter, I obviously luck. My other brooch pendant in picture 2, I find myself very beautiful and I'm very happy with it. Butterfly's however, are from antiques standpoint of value. Because building images are then made ??because the photography (yet) exist and tourists (mainly in Rome) back home wanted to show what they had seen. Is there a better way? Something quite different from the (easy) digital photography of today. I think it fantastic you like my pendant and of course, I agree too.

Very beautiful AGram! I love the wings on the butterfly with it's very round "eyes".
The pendant is just a wonderful setting with the flowers and drop.

racer4four thanks for your compliment about the eyes and of course for your loving. I love these details too and I'm glad to have been able to add it to my collection. Again, I realize again the time difference with residents of other countries outside Europe. I always like to respond as quickly as possible on lovings or compliments, but these often come from fellow collectors from the USA and coming in as we here in Europe lie down to sleep as now.
