For anyone who may have an appreciation of antique pocket watches, I would like to share my latest acquisition. This is an English, early lever escapement fusee pocket watch made by Henry Hole of London in 1824, this watch is 191 years old. The movement has gilt plates, a diamond end stone, 11 jewels, and the original dust cover (not shown). It is wound and set with a key.
The sterling silver pair cases are in good condition. The inner and outer case is hallmarked London 1824, original to each other. It has several watch papers with service records hand written on the back. The watch is large and quite heavy. Like most of the early lever fusee watches, it has a very nice sound when running.
STUNNING!! LOVE THIS POPS!!
