I've been told this sign is what is called a (back bar) sign. It is lit with two bulbs that sit in the bottom go the stand. As you can see from the pictures the top pieces are removable and consist of one piece of glass which has the advertisement on it as well as a thin piece of painted metal that sits behind the glass. The overall dimensions are approximately 16"L x 4"D x 12"H. I received this from my father-in-law before he passed about 10 years ago and was told it is very rare. I would like to know any information that anyone can give me about the sign so that I can pass this along to my son when I give him the sign.
    Thank You.

Wow, that is a really nice light. I have a similar one in my collection except mine is a cash register light by the Reading Brewing Company; same makeup and parts though. I've seen a few of these over the years at breweriana shows, last one I saw went at an estate sale in the $200 range but that's at auction. Besides the cord being replaced it looks in almost perfect condition. Is there any kind of manufacturer number or name on the base towards the back of the light?
