An unusual one cent coin made in 1858. It has a few scratches but considering it is 156 years old, it looks pretty good. Any comments will be welcome.

Ah, the good old Flying Eagle Cent - only minted from 1856-1858 although the first year (1856) were pattern pieces and some proofs for collectors - so basically only had a 2-year run before the introduction of the Indian Head Cent. - about 42 million minted for 1857-1858 but still a good type piece in any condition - LOVE IT

I have one with the same one cent graphic on the back but the front graphic is different and I think the date on mine is 1845 I'll have to post it. Nice coin:)
