This 3 foot church pew came out of a place of worship that was built in 1910.I can't tell if the pew was built before or after that date.I also have stain glass panels out of that same church.

I can give you a starting point. Twenty years ago I made these by cutting down ten foot pews. They sold like hot cakes and old pews were cheap. Most of them were solid slab oak in a width you can't buy today. It could also be a deacons bench which I would research first. These don't have fancy carvings but that isn't a bad thing. If I could find them here in Florida I would gobble them up just for the wood.
Ty fhrj2......yes they where cut down I have 3 of them 2 -3ft 1-2 1/2 ft
Once you cut these down the age of what it was originally is gone. You are altering it and making something new so it has a new birth date. These were hot sellers during the 1980's in New England but no big money. Ten foot pews without carvings were selling for $20. The wood was worth more than the actual pew but people from the city loved those short ones and would pay well for them. Being a cut down I doubt you can date it and the value is simply what someone is willing to pay.
Ty again fhrjr2....Got it did get an offer but keeping them like how they look and not that uncomfortable ether put one on my porch in NC
i used to sit in a short pew like this when i was an altar boy over 40 yrs ago!
