Hi
Everyone.
I found this Art Deco Painting, yesterday at VV, everybody was busy at GW, that's maybe the reason i am able to grab this one. This could be a version "" Saint Fabiola"Well done by a talented artist,,R.W.Taylor, from the early XX century on Canvas Board. This painting frame was 16.25 inch wide by 19 inch high, the board 12 inch by 15.25 inch.
I want to Thanks" solver" for the help put an ID on this one.

Now this is beautiful Alan :) I wonder if it could be the original oil for an illustration in a book or magazine.

Mike
Many thanks for the comment and the love.
I would love that of coarse, i will have plenty of time to check, and let know CW about that, with an update post, because like you, i did't resale any of my Collection Artwork.

Hi, Alan, a lovely painting, that is after the portrait of "Saint Fabiola" by Jean-Jacques Henner (1829-1905).

An interesting press release on the numerous portraits after Henner's paintings, "Francis Alÿs: Fabiola," courtesy of the National Portrait Gallery, London:

Great quick solve, Solver! You are the enigmas guru !
kyrantango, thanks, but I have seen her often since Saint Fabiola is the subject of numerous portrait miniatures and brooches in enamel, which I know interests you.

I didn't have the time when I saw it, but that was an incredible purchase and restoration by you of the exceptional Charles Fleetwood Varley [attributed to] arts and crafts brooch. Besides having a great eye, you are very talented, such enviable assets. :-)
Solver, you have the eye AND memory! I knew I saw her many times but didn't remember the religious background ;-)
Thank you so much for your interest and incredible compliment on my Varley brooch.
Alan, our CW friends have definitely came thru for you on this one. Very nice indeed. I would not have known that was Saint Fabiola. Glad to know.
Many thanks, solver, Scott, kyratango, mike for the comment and the love.
Special thanks to solver, as usual help to put an ID on the subjet.

Alan
