    LOUMANAL
    (436 items)

These Toucans Bookends are signed Austria on the back and are special indeed with their long beaks and extended wings. They are finely detailed right down to their black glass? eyes. They are sitting on green marble bases and measure 6 1/4" tall by almost 3 5/8" long by 3 1/4" wide. The bronze cast is finished in metallic hues in black (tip of wings and beak), greys/silver (overall) and gold (on chest). I appreciate any information as to date of manufacture and company that could have produced them. I have found no other like this pair. Thanks everyone, RER(BOB)

They're fantastic Rob and look very much like the Martin Brothers pottery grotesque birds in their design. I don't think they every did anything in bronze though. Their designs were popular and copied quite a bit by other companies.
