Seven inch tall vase buttressed with spears or vegetation, multi-colored glossy glazes, signed "G. Bourgeot"
The Magazine of Art (1899) refers to an "M. Georges Bourgeot".
Bourgeot (Paris 1876 – Montreuil, Seine 1955) is written about in "French Art Nouveau Ceramics: An Illustrated Dictionary" by Paul Arthur - coming out in hardcover on April 20th of this year.

Paul Arthur's book won't be free. It's running ~$98.00 on Amazon with a release date anticipated in late Summer.
I really like this form. If it had a matte green glaze on it, you could almost imagine it as a Grueby or Teco vase.
