    It always amazes me how pieces just show up the next day after days of nothing to look at. This fellow was on the shelf with another smaller figure. I think he has the better pedigree. He's 14" tall and made of a very beautiful dense wood that's a bit on the heavy side. Great color and the carving is very well done. I think he's missing a staff or fishing pole because there's a hole in his one hand. He's also carrying a large basket. The base has a stress crack along the grain of the wood in it too. Most likely from a dry home with low humidity. There is an odd two character mark on the bottom. Not sure about it's age but it is impressive to look at. -Mike-

      Hmm this is odd I'm not getting any e-mail notifications from my posts or when people comment. I didn't get the morning new post e-mail either. Don't know if it's a problem with yahoo or CW's server. Been like this since yesterday anyone else having a problem??
