I just found this today in the barn. It is an old tea shipping crate from China covered in a paper label with designs. The inside is lined with paper also and the lid is still with the box. I love the worn looks of this, so I brought it into the house. I cannot find a maker's label on the box. There is a piece of newspaper attached to the inside bottom that states: Commerce/Commercial Gazette Saturday April 7, 1894.
