    This is a Remington boot shaped knife,the heel of the boot is used asa cap lifter.As near as I can tell this was an early advertising knife from the 1920s,you don't find many in brass,there are reproductions on the market also but if you know what to look for,they're smaller.

      That particular tang stamp was used 1921 to 1924.

      "Coke" wasn't used until 1941.

      In the 40's the tang stamp would have had a script Remington and the UMC would be the same font.
