Here's the final and best score of the day from Salvation's half price sale. I always buy real paintings I like when they're affordable and check the artists out later when I get home. Usually they're unknowns or just locally know. Today I finally picked up a known artist that is actually listed in the art directories. Almost any boat, ship. or waterfront scene gets my attention right away. This beautiful watercolor is by James Philip Feriola. Lots of examples of his work online in private galleries and auctions. A great deal at three dollars ninety-nine cents let alone half of that ! -Mike-

It's a great, moody scene Mike.
Thanks Karen :)...He does a lot of barns and landscapes too but I think his waterfront and seascapes are much better.
Great watercolour, particularly at the part of water and stones.
