I found this at Volunteer's of America pushed all the way back on the bottom shelf in housewares. The intense ruby red color is amazing and it's quite heavy. It stands 9" tall and the bowl is 6 1/2 "in diameter. The pedestal appears to have a small hollow but is very thick and solid. It's joined to the bowl with a thin spiral of glass for a detail. The bowl has an interesting shape with a few air bubbles in the glass at the bottom. There is a ground pontil on the bottom with a mysterious "X" on the edge. It does show bottom wear so I think it's fairly old maybe even 19th century. Nice clear ring when tapped too. -Mike-
