Can anyone identify this chifferobe, armoire or know of any websites I can research for info? I have searched the piece in and out, up and down and all around for identifying marks and there aren't any. I do not know the type of wood. It is 66" high, 38" wide, 22" deep. It has 1 drawer at the top. 2 small drawers on each side of a cupboard door. 3 drawers below cupboard.

Nice! Mahogany with Burl Walnut Veneer I would guess.
Gut feeling is early 20th cent., due to the ornations. Handles seem Asian perhaps?

I think the case is made of American black walnut with walnut burl panels on the drawers. American esthetic period. The hinged right corner should lock the drawers, or some of them.

I'd call it a dresser since it doesn't have a large section to hold hanging clothes.

The top box looks to be a hatbox.

I'd date it to the very early 20th century as well.
