I found this Clock today at SVA and hope it turns out to be a good buy. I would like to know how old it is/what year it was made. I do not know if it works because it does not have a Key. I would like to find one for it. I was surprised to see what someone charges to service a clock like this, see below. I would think just based on that it would have a good Value, tho I could be wrong so if you can tell me how to find it's year made and value please do. Thanks for looking.

The Seth Thomas No. 124 movement can be identified by "No. 124" stamped in the back plate of the movement. The No. 124 was introduced about 1924 and was made up through 1956. These movements are quite common and give good service after being properly repaired. Many that we receive for repair have wear from years of use, or have suffered from poor repair work in the past. Clockworks can repair it to operate like new, and the average charge to overhaul the movement is $600 to $800 if there are no damaged gears.
