    St. Nicholas is shown giving a blessing with small images of Christ and the Virgin Mary at the sides.

      The icons are great! I'm fortunate to live near a RO church, as well as an Ukrainian Catholic church! I obtained a wonderful icon from from my friend's church, which I will have identified the next time that I go to St. Vladimir's or St. John's churches.

      I will post a scan of it at that time.

      Besides the spiritual enrichment that these churches offer, they also make the best blynai (Lithuanian for potato pancakes), and pyrohi!

      Ted_Straub.....I have collected Russian icons since the 1960's.
      Actually they led me to convert to the Orthodox Church.
      Also I am a semi-curator at the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, Mass.

      Largest collection in America.
