These plates have Chinese lettering on the front and marks on the back.
Does anyone recognize anything in Chinese or the markings on the back.
They are about 5 inches in diameter.
At first glance they look the same but feel different from one another, one plate has a bluer tone and is warped. The white design on the front does not appear to be painted on. Also one is slightly bigger than the other. There are small pock marks on the front and back.
Thank you for any information on them or any resource material I can use to identify them.

as always i can only talk bs here , but i wonder if this is set
the left one got an rotten straw sedimentation on the bottom and got a genuine pressed ferro red mark and ! and a closed frame border at the mark

to me the mark doesnot make sense and the left under symbol is a made symbol, so i think its an artist made between 1880-1920 , actually i like this

the right is an generic probably much and much later , because the mark is diluted looks like PROC

i am just guessing , i might have missed something , but i can,t find in elaborate reference works

no we are partly committed here, this is an coral glaze, the mark is stamped which is generally a not so well indication, this is an square mark closed band, compare tongzhi and guangxu framing , and this is a more signifant indicator

IMO the oxidicing of the ferromark mark defines it , there is also kilnpitting and the Yellow colour of rhe rimming is favourable ( also called a rotten straw oxcidizing)

lets define this to late guangxu period ,the left one this must be real, good chance this is THIS IS TIME AND PERIOD

the vase on the right i don,t know probably proc period is uncertain , maybe republic period , i just don,t know

      i think you did well
