It started out a boat show but the cars seemed to take over. But there are still a fair amount of vintage boats. These were the type of boats seen in vintage photos of Lake Arrowhead in the 30s and 40. and 50s. Good news is that you can get a house on the lake for under one million now.
How beautiful are these wood boats, works of art!

I remember being a poor kid and getting invited by my rich friend to stay in his beautiful "cabin" at Arrowhead in Abt 1949-50 and riding in their beautiful wood boat like this one. It was a Cris-Craft and yes they had a dock, maid, cook, and the works! What a memory for a young kid raised by hard working parents who both came with nothing but hope and promise.
Thank you very much Rattletrap. We do have some fancy smancy places up here. They probably even had a garage.

Thank you very much billretirecoll. I will check it out.
Thank you very much Ms.CrystalShip. I imagine these do take a lot of work. Lake Arrrowhead was in several movies. Saw an old movie set in Cambria yesterday.
