    I think this is a 1950 side table. Found this on the side of the road had to save it. LOL. Made of wood and the table tops look like they are made of plastic to look like wood.

      OMG! I don't know when they started making these but my first new items of furniture I bought was a set of these, 2 end tables and a coffee table, in 1970.

      Research: Mersman-Congoleum two-tier side tables -- I believe the plastic coating is formica.

      I had some very like this too--but they began to peel. Could be the intense AZ. weather and we didn't have air-conditioning.Yes 1970s for me too.
