Sometimes when we are hunting for Antique Gas Pumps we stumble across unexpected jewels in strange places. We were told about a couple of old gas pumps in this barn & when we began searching through the stuff in the barn we saw this nice 40s Buick staring us in the face. The car was purchased new by a deceased man up the road about 1/2 mile and now the present owner got it from her dads estate as he recently died. It still has pretty nice original upholstery and no visible rust or body damage other than a small dent or two that can be easily repaired. Then there is the 1932 Packard I didn't get pix of that is also in the Barn!!! These finds are rare and real "heart stoppers" for old car collectors like me! I love the hunt & the find!!! Then starts the creative "bargaining".
Nice car.Great find.
Thanks. It's hard to express just how excited we get when we find stuff like this totally unexpectedly. We weren't looking or even asking about antique cars because they are getting so hard to find in the wild. Then this and an even much better car appear in the same barn! Amazing race to the Bank account! That's another story.
Did you get both?
Negotiations still in progress but it is moving along nicely. My being in Hawaii makes it a little more complicated due to big time differences etc etc but we are making headway.
Good luck i seen a volvo yesterday looked almost identical.
