Hello Everybody. Instead of posting one or two different watches today. I thought I might share a small glimpse of a couple cabinets I have a few watches displayed in. If you look in the bottom R/H corner of photos #3 & 4, you might notice a few of the boxes stacked upon each other....those are "themed" based displays, like the "Cowboy" box I posted the other day. There's just a few here for your enjoyment, blow the photos up and see if any particular piece grabs your interest and I'll do an individual posting for you.
Have a great Day.....
Kerry

Thank You surfdub66 and captainslack for the support...
@ captainslack, get getting to know you here on CW, as several of the older patrons can attest to, I have a few timepieces here and there, That's why we laughingly refer to my collection as the "Horde". some have even went so far as to question when the Television series "Hoarders" is stopping by to visit. LOL
Thanks again guys, very appreciated!!

Oh .... I just thought of something ...
Reflecting on a conversation regarding famous people that have worn Mickey watches ... Do you have any "worn by ... " ?
I thought of it when I saw the advert on Ebay for the Elvis estate sale ...
Woah! Impressive! And you say "display a few"...
Thank you Kerry for sharing your huge collection :-)
Good Morning Eye4, What's on your mind today? Always appreciate your comments and queries. If I can add any info towards a plausible answer, I will attempt to do so.
Kyratango, Thank you, but these are just a few...these photos depict about 1/6 of my collection....Thus the term "Horde" is used in so many of my comments
Thank you VETRAIO50 form looking bin, always a pleasure to see your name pop up on one of my post. Always very appreciate the support you've shared.
Eye4....sorry slow with response, but your other comments didn't appear on my end until just now....Don't understand that "Glitch" but must be a tech issue....
To answer your question of "Celebrities" owned watches, Yes I have two different watches that were "gifts" from well know figures. I will email you those, as I don't outright let certain information to become public knowledge . I'm sure you can understand why certain items and such are not for the public to know. Those particular pieces I don't even keep at home....they are in a controlled temperature environment and safety deposit style vault.
Thank you nutsabotas6 for dropping by, really appreciate seeing you've shared the support :-) Thanks again
Oh my!!!! That's quite an overwhelming collection!! Love it! BTW, are they all in working order??
lndrozdenko, Thanks for the wonderful complement. And yes these all are in working order, it's a hobby of mine to find old nonrunners and restore them to somewhat their former glory. I've acquired several from the recycle bins(trash cans) after neighborhood clean-ups....
All I can say is wow!! That is an awesome collection!!
Very impressive Kerry!!!! Love the display cabinets :)
You're welcome! It looks like you have been at it for quite some "time!" I am in the process of cleaning out my house. I am sure I have a few I can send your way. :-)

for all the lovely complements and support, very appreciated!!
@ lndrozdenko, homeless timepiece always have a place here at the "Horde" they can call home :-)
You're too funny, but I think you are right. I think the "Horde" will make a nice home for the soon to be homeless timepieces! :)
lndrozdenko, sorry slow with response, I attempted to catch some sleep, been something not being able to get much of lately, but found a comfortable spot propped up a corner, seem to work for a few hours, so better attitude today .surprising what a little rest will do.
Like I stated earlier. the "Horde" is a place where a timepiece can find refused in today's "Throw away" system. Some become organ donors, so others might be given a second chance and the other get a cleaning and servicing, which provides them a chance of being useful part of our society again. Almost sounds like a commercial for a Rehab Clinic...lol
But seriously. I do scout around and find watches/clock here and there and bring them home to fix or save for future parts. Example/ the other day fellow patron here on CW had a very unique watch that had long since stopped working, if not for my donor box....finding parts for a 1922 Ansonia pocket watch would be slim to none
lndrozdenko, here's link to the friends watch....

Wow, great setup, Kerry! All easily seen and not hoarded at all, IMO! Cleanly presented and well lit as well. I don't think anyone would claim this was hoarding,
this is a beautiful collection and of some very hard to find character watches from the early and mid 20th century! Well done!
