This is another pedal car I have had for years, as you see it in the first photo , painted gray.
I few months ago I decided to dig it out and clean it up some. I soaked it down with my favorite cleaner, Super Clean, and in a matter of seconds the gray paint started dissolving. After about an hour of spraying and scrubbing I came away with the red Hook & Ladder, Sweet.

      Thanks,
This is an early 50's. AMF bought BMC around 1954.

      Thanks for all the loves

Now that is some great restoring to get to the original paint.

Will you leave original? Great either way.

I no longer have this one but I think I would have left it in original paint.

      Thanks for the new loves.

Cool. Good job getting the gray off. The red has some good patina.
