I habe to rewire and polish this one....
No idea what sort of bulbs fit into these sockets
They are sooo little....... just like old bycicle lamp bulbs
Any idea who made this one and which bulbs i do need?
Very cool.
SWEET !! keep us posted on what your doing with it, and the bulbs. Love to see the finish product !!
Whoa that is really cool!
oh I want it :-) love
Just cleaned the arms....will take a while to finish it...
I think I have seen similar with small round bulbs in each!..would spectacular light up!..I bet the polishing took a while, all those sides...:-/
These are so cool.... I'd love to find one !
Beautiful ! Have you look at 1st Dibs site for ideas for bulbs? https://www.1stdibs.com/search/?q=sputnik
yes i had a look... 1stdibs.... a bargain's place
Could be made by Lightolier (Manufacturer)
The lightoliers i have seen are with different bulbholders.... it's really a miracle who made this one
I have seen some very beautiful bulbs online esp ebay I believe. Similar to these:

What a fantastic light - worth effort for sure. You can enjoy the fact that at 1st Dibs it would probably cost you around $247833.
First cleaning step done.....
Strange... there is just one wire to each bulb and a single wire connected to the globe... seems to be current carrying electricity when switched on...?
Fabulous MCM lamp! :)
seems to be 12V originally wired to an external transformer, because the body of the fixture acts as a conductor
Miniature 12V (E10) lamp screw bases might work
Fabulous find!! I'm soo jealous. Well done
sputnik is a widely used term but that is likely how it will be described
if it has odd light bulbs, good chance it is Italian ;-)
