I picked this piece up a few years ago in New Orleans. The design shows a lot of Japanese influence. Apparently Edward Moore was very fond of Asian arts and traveled to Japan frequently. His collection of Asian arts, as well as a few of his Tiffany pieces, are now in the Met.
The pattern number, 9782, was introduced between 1888 and 1889.
