Glasfabrik Schliersee pieces come up very rarely, and when they do, they are usually sold as Loetz or Kralik. This is understandable, because in terms of quality, they hold their own in comparison. Nuances of color, shape, and enameled decoration can be picked up on over time, and allow one to find a rare gem among gems. For the study of jugendstil glass from Bavaria, the resource I have found most indispensable is "Gläserner Jugendstil Aus Bayern", by Christiane Sellner, published by Morsak. It is out of print, but with patience, copies might be found on the secondary market. It is from this book that the last photo scan is lifted - a line drawing from the Schliersee sales books that matches the small cabinet vase shown here. Thanks to Ms. Sellner's book and the reprints it holds, I have been able to match several shapes and decors that were previously thought to be Loetz or some other more well known maker.
Another beauty..congratulations!...:-)
