I saw on the world news yesterday Ovation Guitars almost closed but thanks to employees its still building excellent guitars! So I thought I'd post my 1975 Ovation Medallion I bought in the 70's and took it with me everywhere I went, its been handled rough through the years getting caught in the rain, left out in the cold and banged around but I still strum it often. I do plan on fixing it up like new in the next couple years. Many of the top performers over the years have used Ovation guitars and still do! Ovation Guitars are made in the USA in New Hartford Conn.
Glad you love this kerry10456, officialfuel, brunswick, Otaco4me, sugargirl, Manikin, aura, mikelv85, fortapache and vetraio50!

Thank you Thomas! Happy new years, wishing you the best!
note: this Guitar is all apart, I'm trying to get the warp out of the front and rebrace it, and then touch up the neck , wish me luck lol
Forgive me for the sorta dumb question please, I've never really been a guitar person -- but is this one of those rather legendary kinda rounded-plasticish-backed instruments?? One of my good high school buddies had one of those years ago, and I always thought it was really cool anyways...I just don't remember at the moment what its exact brand name was... ;-) HNY, EJW-54!! :-) :-) :-)
Happy new year AnythingObscure, yes this has the rounded plastic back, I think Ovation was the only one like that in the 70's.
:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Thanks EJW for the kind answer to refresh my old tired brain cells?!! Now, is it time for the champagne yet...?? <giggle><grin><cheers>
