Happy new year too all. Look what I got in a 20.00$ goodwill grab bag. A nice surprise.
A filigree butterfly marked : sterling LB Denmark I hope i'm not over stepping the boundaries by labeling it victorian.only by the "C" catch pin and tube hinge can I do so? After much research on the marker I'm about to give up .i do know the maker had some of the best silver smith's to draw his inspiration from in and around this period. The following are some of the marker that may be possibilities.
Lauritis Berth coppen. 1893-1957
Borrensen Sen & Lessen
L. Braemer 1983- ?
I can see some of the great Farmer style in this pcs. Could be way off base but I tired.any remarks are always well received by the rookie
PS: Bonus for those of you who are wondering
About the token in the pics, it's a sales tax token
From 1933 when Washington state usa imposed
It's 1st sales tax 2% the token was vaulted at 1/5
To cover items under 10 cents (but had to purchased through a independent vender)
Not through the retailer. Gee not much has changed ? Oh well
Thanks all

Thanks nutsabotas6. My oldest pcs of my short collecting years. I wish I could find the marker.

This is very nice. I started collecting butterflies for my niece for a gift on her wedding day. Still have a few years to go. They are so beautiful I almost decided to keep for myself.
