I have a collection of "Son in Service" items from both World Wars.
This example was one that I had not seen before.
It was made (and is marked) by Coro on both pieces.
The real unusual part of this piece is that it is identified and named to recognize TWO sons in service.
The owner had a stylized "S" jeweler engraved on the chest of the Eagle and an "S" added to "SON". Additionally, the owner had the two sons engraved on the back of the piece.
With some work, I can probably fully identify the "Sons in Service"-- I just wish the last name was something a little less common than Smith!

Beautiful piece scott.
Awesome Piece, What does the twelve Stars represent ???
Thanks mike. The Eagle looks similar to the Great Seal-- the six stars on each side and one in the middle (13 TOTAL), MAY represent the 13 original colonies.
