Hi , I just purchased a old woodwork tool box, with several tools, this old tool I am struggling to ID, it has a forged thingie on the end, with two blades, both curved, the handle appears to be boxwood and the forged end passes through the handle and is secured in a small brass ferrule in the other end of the handle.

I vaguely remember seeing one before at a show or museum, but cannot remember its use.

Please put me out of my misery.
