Picked this dish up at my local thrift store for a couple bucks. Upon further research I've determined this dish is an Nippon made dish. Measuring the hallmark came out to 1/4". Has a "tongue" that starts behind the dish, to the opposite side. The colors... Vividly bueatiful detailed of all colors of the rainbow plus the gold. Very interesting subject matter. Geisha girls I believe, or perhaps a tea ceremony. In the background more people can be seen, and a landscape of a mountain or valcano in the back. I havnt seen this particular style in any auction or website so I'm curious.
Very nice plate indeed. Welcome to CW.
Thanks Gillian ^^
