This is a Mothers' Day present for my mom as she collects Donald Duck items. She has a few hundred. While researching this item it looks like Pluto the nonathropromorphic dog is supposed to be there too. But as long as Donald is there it is all good. She calls Mickey the rodent.
It requires 1 C size battery, have not tested to see if it works yet.
Looks to be 1960s-1970s.
