This is an antique silver plated Art Nouveau mechanical bell made by WURTTEMBERGISCHE METALLWARENFABRIK ("WMF") In Germany. The hallmarks indicate manufacture was somewhere between 1903 - 1920.
It measures 4 inches square by 3 3/4 inches high, and has a beautiful chime.
I normally don't collect antique bells, and certainly don't "need" one, but when I saw this I just WANTED it...; - )
