I think it's brass or some kind of strong gold handle... Don't know what kind of wood it is... the blade is made out of Taiwanese 440 stainless steel just looking to find out more information about this... Possibly how much she might be working
Please help with any information you may have on this item
Why do you say it is German ?
It's a miner's union cane. A symbolic sword/axe for the Sergeant-at-arms at a miner's labor union. The Sgt-at-arms is a person in charge of the security.
International symbol for miners:

I just came across almost the exact same cane. Mine has the axe and hammer the same orientation as the head of the cane. Have you found and information on this cane?
THIS IS 100% FANTASY ..NOT GERMAN OR NAZI ...TAIWAN STAINLESS SHOULD SAY IT ALL..WOULD BE HIGHEST QUALITY SOLIGEN OR SIMILAR
Does anyone have any information on this cane? I have come across one as well. Is it valuable?
When u get some more info I would like to know too I've got d same exactly.
It's a miners union cane. I have one dont, know value. One sold in u.k. For 76 pounds... In 2014 that's all I could find out..
So this is a 1970s reproduction of a turn of the century 1910 to 1930 actual design, I have an original prior to 1928, it is Nickel plated and is more defined in the center medallion, on the repops they never finished the slag(rough edges) inside the medallion. The one I have is a presentation piece.
All the best Steve
