In many ways an ugly camera, heavy and awkward and I found it in a boot sale along with numerous bits and pieces this morning.
Japanese made in the 50's I believe. Its mostly mechanical and so reliable . A TopCon R film camera with lenses, an Extra Prisim, Filters, case, tube extensions and various bits. A collectors dream really and it will be some time before I sort things thru.
Its current prisim is a waist level one but it has the normal viewfinder to.
Great find. I used to have 3 Topcon's in my collection. They were a top rated and expensive camera in their day. Use it. Yes they are heavy but not awkward. If you use it a few times you will really appreciate it. Built like a tank. Great find.
