The seal on the bottom of this bottle means "Jing Tai lan"??? which is "cloisonne on brass" in Chinese.
The central panels on each side are shaped like pears. Inside them are different bird and flower motifs. The sides have a flower pattern on a black ground.
This one measures 5.6cm tall and is in very good condition.
Very pretty
Thank you alliececile!
Yes and the best thing about collecting them is they don't take up much space! So I have a lot of miniature art!
yes cs it is jin tai lan ure right
its history dates back to the ming dynasty but im unsure of the age. let me read up more n share with you soon
I have to ask did you paint the portrait on your profile, as if you did your a very good artist. Also if it is a self portrait you are very beautiful, don't worry I am happily married and it's not a cheesy pick up line. I just like to be honest and say what I feel, as honesty always the best policy have you heard that saying.
Hi lee120275 I'm sorry I never saw your question. I paint - and did paint that pic but that's not a portrait of me - it's a portrait of an angel. I have never painted myself :)
this is the real mark
looks like 1780-1820
