This is the other piece of Trubel? studio art pottery that I found at the Concord, Ca. Flea Market about three months ago. It's a matte black, red clay pottery vase with a silver/white brush strokes design on one side. The vase is 8 1/4" tall 4 1/2" at the widest point, it has a 2 3/4" opening on top, and a 2 3/4" base, that has a green clay scratched in cursive mark Trubel(not sure) with 85 under it. This vase is like one that bratjdd posted three years ago, and is also looking for information about it, so anything you could give would be great! :^)

wow ho2cultcha, your vase is so close to mine, and bratjdd's is just missing the brush stroke design, only has the matte black color. I like the way the artist matched the clays color with the brush design on your vase. nice! :^)
This really is a beautiful pot !!!
thanks vetraio50, I think so too! :^)
