Not enough time for the plaid metal suitcase tonight so will go with this license plate from 1945.
This plate was new version for 1945, black with white lettering. I think this is plate for a passenger car.
Originally this plate was badly bent in three places but I got it fairly straight with my soft mallet on top of a piece of carpeting.
