I purchased this table some years ago at an estate sale and know nothing about it. Any help? I have never seen another like this.

It looks like a game table, but low, maybe for smoking supplies! What is its dimensions? Nice looking table though, is that leather on top?

The dimensions are from end to end 50"L and 22 1/4" w and the height from floor is 12 1/2 "

The top is not leather .
I have a two tier side table w exact same leather design as this coffee table. I'm sure it's probably a table used for phone on top w small drawer and place for phone book
