Around 250 years old (give or take a year) and in very good condition..the seller said it was in good condition but!... “used condition” so was expecting it to be covered in mineral deposit on the inside of the bowl.. and you can see it's 'been around' awhile but! really nice and clean for the age it is..been well loved I'd say!
I really can’t believe this wonderful delicate piece of important glass has got this old without a chip, it has been well loved..and is so beautiful…I can’t stop looking through my loop at the red rod inside the clear rod....it fascinating me!..not so rare now adays maybe..but!! 250 year ago..it takes my breath away.
It is..approx... 10. 1/2 inch long.
The last photo is taken from the Riedel book.
Thank you for looking!...:-)

You just need a little sea sponge to put in for some dampness.
A very much needed item I imagine, beautiful. Looks very rare.
I still can't get over how delicate and perfect this piece is - and how old! It is a rare beauty, and wonderful that you were able to find such a perfect reference for it! I know you'll out it in a special place, inky! :)

Lovely piece.... I love old glass.
I have a couple of early German/Dutch Roemers from the late 1500's / early 1600's. The history old glass brings with it is really quite amazing.
