No stickers on these but I have no doubt they were made by Multi Glass Japan.
I'm guessing when I say 1970s, albeit an educated guess. Multi Glass really seemed to enjoy these colours then and also enjoyed variations of the handkerchief, and bowl.
The taller is about 28cm, the bowl shape around 18cm.
Wow Karen!!!!
Wow again. I particularly love the bowl :)
Beautiful piece
I think everyone has already said it for me. WOW!!!!! This is fantastic!
Both are awesome Karen - especially love the "handkerchief vase"! Cheers! - Bob

They're funny. The handkerchief one is handkerchief but with a difference. The bowl is the bowl of course but its rim is undulated and it isn't.Those Japanese...
Lovely red!...:-)
They have their own ways Ivonne! Thanks for the observant comment.
Red as a mozzie bite in summer Inky! Ta.
Don't you collect anything with plain old straight sides Karen? Of course not, and that is what I find so appealing about your collection! These are exactly what excites me... great design and fantastic shape!
Lol Rick.
My serious glass collecting started with Sccandinavian glass. Everything pared back and designed to be beautiful and exciting whilst appearing to be under-designed. I have moved a loooong way from that!
I still love Scandi glass but as you say, I now have little glass with plain old straight sides. Japanese glass is energetic, sometimes loud, and always entertaining. I'm glad it entertains you too.
I have to say Rick for someone with such an exquisite and refined glass collection you still allow yourself to enjoy glass which is vastly different. Congratulations on that!
Wow, I really like the tall one.
Love, love, love them. Especially the tall one.
Thanks Tahiti. Glad you are enjoying my Japanese glass!
Luv the fabulous handkerchief glass...very beautiful to look at. As if the creator was trying to capture a happy emotion in glass.
