      This looks like some sort of compass for a special use hard to tell without size reference

      It is a drafting instrument of some sort. The company is probably Tacro, Inc. of Germany.

      Photo is a bit unclear, but it MAY be for inking a dotted or dashed line , for drafting. If you pull it along with the little wheel on the paper, the inking tip should move up and down to give the dashes - IF I'm correct??? The inking tip is adjustable for varying line widths.

      I always thought that these were the neatest drafting gizmos. I'm old enough to have done drafting the manual way - though I didn't ever use ink. Now computers do it and these things are collected and not used.
