This is the 1948 Chris Craft, that was presented to famed baseball player Joe DiMaggio, by his fans, and the New York Yankees, in that year.
This picture from on line, is from the Lake Tahoe Wood Boat Show, that was held earlier this year.
The "Joltin Joe" was brought back from the dead this year, with donations, and 5yrs., and over 3000hrs. labor of volunteer Carpenters from Local Union 152 in Martinez, California, where the boat has been on display, and was the home of Joe DiMaggio, for many years.
