I like this picture a lot, her Expression and so on. Was found in south Norway 4 years ago (Norway is a part of Northern Scandinavia)
Signatur is not Clear, looks like Shish 187?
Story, time it was made or anything?

The painting is of a young woman, not an old woman.

I think the heading means the painting is old. She doesn't look old at all. I think there's just too much leg, and I just don't understand the picture at all.

She is so beautiful Esso, and art needs no explanation.
Would have been nicer if the guitar was lower, the angle is rude and I feel sorry for her exploited as she is.
I have done some research.
This is a copy of swedish painter Anders Zorn 1860-1920. He obtained international success as a painter, sculptor and etcher. His paintings are in museum in New York, Paris, Boston, Sweeden.
This Picture is called G studio Idyll, 1918.
Evry single one of his most known paintings are a respected treasure.
She has wonderful legs.
People are not so touchy about their bodies as we Americans are.
Its just lovely.
