    I really thought this little guy was Awaji, but i am probably wrong. Thomas K. Libby is the expert on Awaji and he says that the steel strapping w/ the crimps is not Awaji. it's not signed and under 4 inches tall. any ideas?

    i'm not even sure that it's from Japan now, but the shape certainly looks Japanese - and maybe the size too...

      I heard back from Thomas K. Libby and Sandra Andracht about this. Libby doesn't think it's Awaji and Sandra thinks it is Kyoto, so that sounds good to me!
