I see these metal dishes all the time in thrift stores, never interest me. But this one actually has the glass dish also. Thought I'd figure out the glass maker real easy...not quite. To bad it's missing the spoon.
But I know someone will tell me exactly what kind of dish this is and who made, you people help keep my stress level down...lol
Thanks everyone! You are all so appreciated!

Thank you so much Efesgirl!
Remember to mark it as Solved.
You're welcome :-))))
Efesgirl, I'm still hoping someone will know the glass maker. But I do try hard to remember to mark things once I get my answers. But thank you for the reminder, as I can be a bit forgetful....dang age!
I don't think my glass mark pic shows it very well, as I'm not sure others can see the scroll marks on each side of the letters and star?
Leonard Silver (Sheffield) Silver Plated. I have that exact one, with an opaque glass insert w/original tag.
Thanks Celiene! Do you know if Sheffield also made glass?
I thought the glass maker would be easy to figure out...but not so much after all.
Thanks for all the love everyone!
I'm gonna mark this solved, but I'd still love to know who made the glass?
HELP.....LOL
Still looking for an ID on the glass maker?
Any help is appreciated!
Hi Karenoke, found it :) thank you for your comment, it hadn't occurred to me my dish could have come in a 'case'. Now I don't know if it's a soap or caviar dish :-S
