A surprise find this morning! Bought together with the horse wall plaque. How does one tell the age of these pipes? I see some listed as 19th Century and some listed as 18th Century. I will assume this is 19th Century based on the hairstyle. There is a small repair to the amber stem.
I know Meerschaum originates from Turkey. I looked at a gaggle of them on Google Images, but none exactly like this one turned up.
No Mystery here - more of a curiosity.
Thanks for viewing my pipe! No, I don't plan on taking up smoking. :-)))

Yes, you got a real good deal.
Oh wow Bonnie!! What an incredible looking pipe! That's quite a beauty!
Really awwwesome! Again... BARGAIN ;-)
From her hairdo, I think this young lady is around 1900 era :-D
Nice Bonnie, if you're not already, you might have to take up smoking a pipe! :^) What a great look that would be! :^?
I had some older pipes before and took them to one of the pipe stores. They not only cleaned some of the older collectible ones for free the information is vast from the collectors who frequent these stores for possibly dating your pipe
You find the best stuff! Love it!
Love this pipe Bonnie. Glad to hear your not going to start smoking it lol.
Awesome love these old pipes
Don't some of these go for a high$$$?
