This is another find in the charity shops today. There seems to be quite a few around on internet, but nobody mentions who made it. I find it interesting that it has a different pattern on the outside , than the inside. Any help appreciated.

Thank you Tallcakes, I can always rely on you, and funnily enough I was just trawling through a Carnival Glass Website and had come up with the name Brockwitz. I will have to read up about it now.

Thanks Tallcakes, found lots of interesting info on Brockwitz, and it sounds like production of Carnival glass at the glassworks, ended when the Second World War started.

several of their catalogs are online, the 1921 catalog has several pages of the Zurich pattern (tho' not this particular piece). just hit the next page at the bottom to look at the next page. also look to left for list of other catalogs:

I have also been finding this glass in thrift store rather often here lately. I find it to be beautiful, and this piece is no exception.
