Shouldn't you write "Collector's Weekly Limited Edition Plate" 1972
      1776 commemorative coin pattern
      Just saying! :^)

That's a beauty, where did you find it? 1 of 99 A rare piece indeed! :^) it must have been a gift from Collectors Weekly News Paper, it should be easy to get info on it, from their archives!

My son found it in an old house he was helping clean out. We have not been able to find any information about the piece.

If anyone will know, it will be Glen Thistlewood. She runs a FB page and I am sure the members there would love to see your plate and will hopefully be able to help with more information too. https://www.facebook.com/groups/CarnivalGlassNetwork/
