The New Haven RR was the premier way to travel between NY and Boston. The NH ran several trains of pure parlor cars and elegant dining cars. The green brochure, complete with a beautiful I-5 Hudson steam locomotive, dates from 1940. The red brochure is not dated but it is later. The NH, now operated by Metro-North and Amtrak is still a lovely ride. I wish, however, that those fares still existed!
